Lanzarote Aquarium
Based in Costa Teguise and one Lanzarote attraction that is often missed is the Lanzarote Aquarium. Not only a great place to visit but if you are brave enough you can actually swim with sharks in Lanzarote.
This is offered to both experienced and non-experienced divers and is an amazing opportunity to actually dive with real sharks under the water.
Lanzarote swim with sharks
If you have a Padi certificate you are all set and can swim with sharks in Lanzarote at the Lanzarote aquarium. If you have never dived before do not worry as the Aquarium in Lanzarote and their expert diving staff will teach you the basics to allow you to dive down under the water.
You must be over 12 to dive with sharks in Lanzarote and the experience is around 30 minutes, if you do not have a Padi certificate then it's longer and more fun learning first with the qualified divers.

Costa Teguise Aquarium
Once you have experienced swimming with sharks at the Lanzarote Aquarium you can spend time exploring also.
The Lanzarote Aquarium boasts to be one of the largest in the Canary Islands, It has well over 1,000,000 liters of water and 33 aquariums that you can see so much marine life.
You can also see different sharks in the underwater tunnel and huge tanks.
There are also three touch pools where adults and children can touch and learn more about the underwater world and touch sea cucumbers and sea urchins.
Dive with sharks in Lanzarote Tickets
Tickets for the Aquarium in Lanzarote and the swim with sharks excursion must be booked in advance, you can choose to pay in full and beat the check-in or pay a deposit and the rest when you arrive. Booking in advance is advised during these times as there are only certain numbers allowed. The Lanzarote Aquarium should be on your list of things to do in Lanzarote.
